Jacob Weiss, Post-Doctoral FellowJacob Weiss has recently joined the Curb Center staff as a Creative Campus Post-Doctoral Fellow.

Jacob received his PhD in the Department of Biomedical Informatics at Vanderbilt University. His current research emphasizes partnerships and connections in the local cancer community through the development of an online cancer community for middle Tennessee (www.canconnect.org).

Jacob also has been active in Vanderbilt student performing arts by co-founding the Vanderbilt Performing Arts Council in 2006, founding Vanderbilt Juggling and Physical Arts in 2003, as well as directing and performing in the annual Juggleville productions.  His interests include applying his PhD research to build local online communities that support Nashville’s variety arts and performing arts communities.
