Curb Center Signature Programs



The Curb Center's three signature programs turn theory into practice. Grounded in studies of cultural policy, public leadership, and creativity, the programs tie together the Center's mission to conduct research and foster dialogue on the system of law, regulation and corporate practice that shapes the character of expressive life in America.

The Curb Program in Creative Enterprise & Public Leadership prepares students to lead and navigate an increasingly complex system of creative enterprise and expression in the U.S.—a system defined by interdependent global markets and cultures; media consolidation; emerging technologies; complicated intellectual property rules; and changing demographics.

Vanderbilt is in the midst of launching its Creative Campus initiative to make creative engagement and expression a core aspect of campus life and the Vanderbilt experience. This effort is led by the Curb Center for Art, Enterprise & Public Policy and faculty, staff, and students from across campus.

The Arts Industries Policy Forum is a groundbreaking policy program for Congressional and federal agency staff. The Forum serves the public policy process by examining cultural issues through a participant-driven, nonpartisan information exchange program structured to foster informed government decision making.
